Privacy without the detour.
Wayfinder Alert is designed so that normal app use does not require an account and does not send personal user data to ZASTA. This page explains that approach in clear terms.
Privacy Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to Wayfinder Alert, a mobile application provided by ZASTA. Wayfinder Alert does not require registration, sign-in, a personal profile, or an online account. Through normal use of the app, ZASTA does not collect, transmit, or retain personal user data on company servers.
Information Collection
Wayfinder Alert does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, precise location data, contact lists, advertising identifiers, or other personal information through normal app use. The app does not build a server-side user profile and does not use personal data for tracking or advertising.
App Data
Route reminders, trip notes, alert status, history, and app preferences are intended to remain on the user's device. ZASTA does not receive or store this information on its own servers through normal use of Wayfinder Alert.
Website Data
This static privacy page itself does not include account forms, analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or tracking code. Standard infrastructure used to deliver a web page may necessarily process basic network information in transit, but this page is not designed to build profiles or retain personal visitor data for ZASTA.
Local Storage
Information created inside Wayfinder Alert is stored locally on the device as required for the app to function. This may include reminders, route labels, notes, history, and settings. Local device data is controlled by the user and is not a ZASTA-hosted account database.
Third-Party Services
Wayfinder Alert does not share personal user data with third parties because ZASTA does not collect personal user data through normal app use. The Google Play listing and distribution environment are operated by Google and may be subject to Google's own terms and privacy practices.
Security
Because ZASTA does not maintain personal user profiles or a server-side store of Wayfinder Alert user data, the amount of personal data exposed to company systems is minimized. Users should still protect their own devices with appropriate device security controls.
Data Retention
No personal user data is retained by ZASTA through normal use of Wayfinder Alert.
ZASTA does not maintain a server-side database of Wayfinder Alert user profiles, route reminders, route history, or app preferences. Data that exists only on the user's device remains there until the user removes it or uninstalls the application.
Data Deletion
Because ZASTA does not maintain a server-side personal account database for Wayfinder Alert, there is normally no remote user profile or personal app dataset that must be deleted from ZASTA systems.
Locally stored reminders, route history, notes, or settings can be removed using available in-app controls where provided, by clearing the application's local data in the device settings, or by uninstalling the application.
If you voluntarily contact ZASTA by email and request deletion of personal information contained in that correspondence, ZASTA will process the request where legally applicable.
Children
Wayfinder Alert is not directed specifically at children. Because the app does not collect personal user data through normal use, ZASTA does not knowingly build profiles about children through the application.
Policy Changes
ZASTA may update this Privacy Policy when the application, website, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
